Hi Gibbs. I'm intrigued by Lito Casaje's latest DM production. Is it possible for you to give more details about it? Like: What are the titles of the other shorts? Who wrote them? What time? How much are the tickets?

I'll really appreciate it if you know more details about it. Thanks!

hi alvin, glad to be of help.

Lito Casaje's "Single Brown Female and Other Shorts" mounts 4 one-act plays by three award-winning Pinoy playwrights: "Single Brown Female" and "Cafe Vittorio" by JV Torres, "Kuwan" by Jun Lana and "Welcome to IntelStar" by Chris Martinez.

The actors are a mix of Dramatis Personae regulars and student talents of the La Consolacion-Manila School of Performing Arts.

This will be on Friday, Oct. 6, with matinees at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., at the Mother Consuelo Barcelo Auditorium of La Consolacion College Manila (beside Malacañang Palace Gate).

unfortunately, mr. casaje did not include phone numbers for tickets in the material he sent to us. i'll get back to you on that. :)

p.s. i've only seen one of the plays -- martinez's "welcome to intelstar" -- and i recommend it highly. it's a succint and brilliant take on the call-center culture. of course, here's hoping whoever would play the lead part ("ma'am chelsea") in this new production would deliver, because her character anchors the play. :)
