3 plays to watch

Tanghalang Ateneo, on its 28th season, presents "Middle Finger Po," based on Hang Ong's play, "Middle Finger." Translation and direction by Ronan Capinding, set design by Jesus Ignacio, costume design by Jean Pierre Reniva. Gantimpala Theater Foundation (GTF) presents a new production of its long-running play, "El Filibusterismo," based on Jose Rizal’s second novel. The play is intended for high school students taking up the subject. Roeder Camañag plays the lead role of Simoun/Crisostomo Ibarra. Direction by Soxie Topacio, production design by Roobak Valle, lights design by Andy Villareal. The New Voice Company presents Eve Ensler’s new play, "The Good Body," starring Monique Wilson, Pinky Amador and Juno Henares, at the Music Museum, Nov. 10-11. The play, called “fascinating, engaging and scaldingly funny” by the Philadelphia Inquirer, is Ensler's follow-up to the worldwide smash "The Vagina Monologues." Direction by Rito Asilo. nice to know TA is still up and about. we did a a couple of plays in the 80's directed by batch saludo.
