JJ-Christine Villamarin's 'Eklats'

Silverlens gallery announces the opening of "Home Is Where the Art Is: Photo, Audio, Video Collage & Other Eklats." This exhibit of photo collages by JJ-Christine Villamarin will run Feb.22-March 23 at Silverlens Gallery, 2320 Pasong Tamo Extension, Warehouse 2, Yupangco Building.

Art talks supplementing the exhibit will feature renowned filmmaker Kidlat Tahimik on Feb. 24, 3-5 pm ("Recognizing the Indio-genuis Dwende in Us"), and respected journalist Howie Severino on March 3, 3-5pm ("Television as a Visual Art").

Gallery hours are 10-7pm Mondays to Fridays, 1-6pm on Saturdays. Call 8160044 or email

I saw this at Mr. Severino's blog as well. The images are insane. I can't begin to imagine what goes inside the brain of the artist during the conceptualizing stage.

By the way dude, I just moved to my new domain.
