The workshop is open to young men and women ages 13 and above. Classes are on April 11-May 19, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the rehearsal hall of the Concert at the Park Open Air Auditorium, in the heart of historic Luneta, Manila.
The workshop offers lectures and actual exercises on acting, singing and dancing in preparation for a musical theater performance. There are only 35 workshop slots and a musical revue will be mounted by the participants as a culminating activity.
Two-time Aliw Awards nominee Roeder Camanag is facilitator, with tenor and grand kundiman champion Nazer Salcedo as voice teacher. Gantimpala artistic director is Tony S. Espejo.
