Hi everyone! I'm blogging from KL, Malaysia. I haven't had more than three hours of sleep since Thursday, since our flight got delayed by 45 minutes out of Manila, we arrived in KL at 2 a.m. and we got to our hotel past 3 a.m. Unpacking, eating a late, late dinner (room service, but cold--no food on the nearly four-hour Cebu Pacific flight, by the way) and taking a shower ate up more minutes. Finally tumbled into bed at four, only to have to wake up bleary-eyed at 8 a.m. this morning for breakfast and the 10 a.m. call time. Familiarization tours are fun but effin' gruelling. Today we had a a full day checking out some good and not-so-good sites, none of which has given me any cause yet to hyperventilate in excitement or imagine what the opening line of my travel piece would be. I'm also dead tired and crumpling from a headache, but I can't resist bolting into the hotel's business center as soon as we came back to check on this blog. Yeah, call me adik. I'll try to post more details and answer your comments/hollers in the next couple of days. Thanks for keeping my blog company! Or as they say in Malay, "Terima kasih!" (As if.)

*Sigh* I commiserate with you on the nearly 4 hour Cebu Pacific flight with no complimentary snacks. They sacrificed the snacks in pursuit of cheaper flights, and are now selling these food packages (along with toy airplanes and bottle containers).

At least one can't deny the Chinese entrepreneurial spirit. Have a good time in Malaysia :D

KL night market offers the best bargains. The choices are more varied and the stuff are cheaper than any of the many night markets HK boasts of.
