Take it! Take it!

Free DVDs for anyone interested. These are duplicate copies of titles in my collection, all China-made and bought from Makati Cinema Square (you know what that means), but with good-to-above average picture and audio quality. English subtitles and liner notes are, for the most part, also correct, especially the Criterion Collection titles. The list below is a mix of popular releases, Hollywood classics and world cinema essentials. Read more about them either in Amazon or Rotten Tomatoes.

You may reserve up to two titles. E-mail me your choices and your contact number at gibbs_c@yahoo.com, and we'll set up a date when you may drop by the office to get them.

If anyone is loves Before Sunrise, it would be fantastic to watch Before Sunset which was made a decade later with the same characters and actors.

i feel guilty about asking you this, but since the topic is movies.. would you know how i could get my hands on some indie pinoy titles? do they sell video copies in the Philippines? =P

Yey. Freebies na naman. Hindi pa nakukuha ng proxy ko yung book ni Oates pero can I still join in on this one? Hehehehe.

Coz they're so hard to find, I'd love to have Ray's Pather Panchali and Mizoguchi's Tales from Ugetsu. :D
