Lea Salonga invites you to 'Cinderella'

Yep, and she's talking to you via my dinky videocam--taken during the presscon for Cinderella at the Dusit Hotel yesterday afternoon. Presscon details to follow. For now, the fine print:

Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, presented by Broadway Asia Entertainment and starring world-renowned Filipina artist Lea Salonga, runs July 29-August 24 at the Main Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It will then tour other Asian countries like Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea. Bobby Garcia leads the powerhouse production team.

Tickets are now available at selected National Book Store branches, selected Robinsons Department Stores, Ayala Malls-Greenbelt 1/Glorietta 1, and the Ticketworld office or
website. Ticket prices are at P500-P7,000. Call 8919999 for inquiries and reservations.

If your group, corporation or organization is interested in securing block tickets, e-mail Atlantis Productions at cinderella.phil@gmail com or call (929) 6600764 to set up an appointment. Only a limited number of performances are available and requests will be handled in the order they are received. Block sales packages will be sold at a 20-percent discount and are available for the purchase of a full, half or quarter house. An early-bird discount of 25 percent off the purchase of a full house during the first two weeks of performances is available for the first 30 days. Weekend performances are also available.

Lea is also celebrating her 30th year in the business this 2008. She'll have a 30th-anniversary concert called My Life... On Stage this May at the PICC--another show not to be missed. Save up for those tickets now, folks.

Here's Lea, exclusively for the blog (yey!):
