Summer workshop with Juilliard-trained Ana Valdes Lim

Hone your acting skills and perform in a major Shakespeare play with professional actors, and understand the dynamics of a professional theater production!

Join Metta-Assumption Colleges’ Summer Shakespeare “Romeo & Juliet” workshop, April 14 - May 24.

The production is open to 13 years old and up members of school-based or community-based theater groups, individual artists, and aspiring and professional actors.

The play will be directed by Ana Valdes Lim.

Lim is an alumna of the famous Juilliard School in New York and was named among Juilliard’s 100 Most Outstanding Alumni in 100 years.

She received her teaching credentials from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She received the William and Eva Fox Foundation grant in 1996, and is author of the book, “Workshop: A Manual on Acting.”

Those who join the workshop will get a chance to perform “Romeo & Juliet” in public on May 24 at the Mother Rose Auditorium of Assumption College.

Metta also offers other summer courses: Children’s Musical Theater, Hip-hop, Arts & Crafts, Ballet, Modern Dance and Cooking.
