'Avenue Q' returns one last time

For those who still haven’t seen it and those who want to see it again, Atlantis Productions brings "Avenue Q" back to Manila one final time.

"Avenue Q" is the smash-hit Broadway musical about real life in New York City, as told by a cast of people and puppets through a hilariously irreverent, Tony-Award winning book and score. Returning to the show are original cast members Aiza Seguera, Frenchie Dy, Felix Rivera, Rycharde Everley, Teenee Chan and Joel Trinidad. Carla Guevara-Laforteza joins the cast in the dual role of Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut.

Directed by Bobby Garcia and Chari Arespacochaga, Atlantis Productions’ staging of "Avenue Q" played two sold-out runs in Manila last year and will open in Singapore in late October at the Esplanade Theatre, produced by The Singapore Repertory Theatre. "Avenue Q" has set and costume design by Mio Infante, lighting design by Jay Aranda, musical direction by Jojo Malferari and vocal coaching by ManMan Angsico. Due to adult situations (like full puppet nudity), parental discretion is advised.

"Avenue Q" The Farewell Run runs June 13–22, 2008 at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza, Makati City. Tickets are on sale now by calling Ticketworld at 8919999 or Atlantis Productions at 8927078 or 8401187.
