Open rehearsal. Are you a RENT fan? The Philippine Opera Company is inviting bloggers to take a a behind-the-scenes look at the rehearsals for its upcoming production of La Boheme. Find out how the story and characters of this popular opera became the basis for Jonathan Larson's equally trailblazing Broadway musical.

"The only request is to publish a post about your thoughts on La Boheme by 12 noon, October 3, 2008 (since the La Boheme run is from October 3-5)," says Lorna, who's taking care of the registration. Podcast. After the blog awards last Sunday, Migs, McVie and I repaired to a nearby Starbucks to catch our breath. The two guys then set up an impromptu podcast so we could talk about the event. It was appropriate that I was with them because, after Abaniko, Migs was the one who really pushed me to blog, and through him, I also met McVie. We were the original Troikasters, which eventually morphed into the Fabcasters with the addition of three more loonies--CC, AJ and Tony. Enjoy this short and sweet chikahan!
