Daniel Radcliffe. In the buff. On video.

Clip taken during a performance of Equus on Broadway, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Anna Camp and Richard Griffiths. (Warning: R-18 content)

Quick lowdown: “Radcliffe plays Alan Strang, a disturbed young man who, when the play opens, has been sent to a psychiatric ward because he blinded six horses with a poker. In the play's climactic scene, Strang's doctor contrives to get the young man to re-enact the brutal act, which starts with an explicit sex scene and ends, after about 10 minutes of running hysterically around the stage, with the horses. Radcliffe does the entire scene nude.”

i feature nudity--in a play--and you automatically find it cheap. i've not commented on his physical attributes, i've even tried to give the scene context. yet the clinical approach still riles you up. hey, between the two of us, YOUR slip is showing...

ako minsan nacheapan na din kay gibbs specifically duon sa isang blog on the tennis player ata or something. pero dito wala naman siyang sinabi or pinahiwatig ha. ang sabi lang nia, in the buff. o eh ano ngayon! and sa totoo lang, pivotal point naman talaga ang paghuhubad sa part na ito ng equus , iyang unang anonymous, hindi lang her slip is showing, malisyoso pa!

PS: at ano ba ano. siempre big deal ito kasi si harry potter ang maghuhubad. aminin natin at hindi, affected tayo dito because of the PERSONALITY nuong actor

puro kabaklaan. in my opinion, cheap talaga to feature this. sa dami ng hubad sa other stage plays at movies, heto na_excite si giigs dahil kay radcliffe. kahit ano pa ang samihin niyo.

oh please..the posting of this nude scene was entirely gratuitous. and in case you missed it(as you were fixated with radcliffe), the female character, Jill, was also naked. enuff said.

WHOA! HARRY POTTER! IN THE BUFF! ON VIDEO!

Of course it is big deal, anony and adie. We are talking here of an actor who built his career playing a(n almost) sexless character geared for kids. And his deliberate choice to break out of that image. It is not the fact that he is nude. It is the fact that he is Radcliffe. Naman. Even Guardian and NY Times and TO-NY he pounded on that fact. As to the girl being nude too, so what? Had it been Hilary Duff or ok, Charice Pempengco, I am sure Gibbs will place those names too in the title. Get real. Grow up.

My final take: hinog ka na. Di lang binabato, namimiss interpret pa. Chos. Consider adie your official hater-stalker. He doesn't just follow your blog, pati comments din constantly monitored.

on the contrary, this blog is a daily stop for me despite the fact i live in paris. I always find it an inteligent read. although i can relate more to stage productions in london, paris, los angeles & NYC. but i read this blog bec. it's geographically where my hearts is.

when i was in school growing up, i attended school plays run by amador & baby; and repertory theater @philamlife bldg, meralco and CCP. my past interest led me to this blog so i can appreciate the scene and the new talents in the country. so yes i do follow the blog. and i find your freaky adoration
of ato-something model funny.

i still think posting the video was cheap & your defense rather weak. so to all you apologists. this is my opinion. this is not a crtiticism for being or sounding gay. it's about taste & propriety. maybe i have more of it than all you combined.

Although I've seen Equus staged here, of course I'm curious about the West End and Broadway staging. At least this video gives me a glimpse of how it was done.

Again, hats off to Daniel Radcliffe for his courage to take on a psychologically and physically demanding role.

He's got huge balls -- figuratively and literally -- to take on this role.
