The artistic team includes theater designer Ohm David (design consultant), TV, film and theater comedy actor-writer Edwin Serrano (script consultant), Mattheus Mopera and Beverly Verdera (sketch writers), Bobby Calubong and Gelo Kawada (choreographers), Gilbert Mata (set designer), Pat Villarojas (costume designer), Kim Martillano (sound designer), Edson Santelices (technical designer), Aicel Boncay (production manager), Heherson Bala (assistant production manager) and Luis Recto and Angel Penullar (stage managers), Cyleen Velasquez (publicity manager), Darwin Chiang and Anthony Ramos (documentarists).
“Spoof” tells the story of Mass Communication student Piyong as he meets his alter ego Piyo before leaving the campus. Piyo encourages Piyong to see the realms of politics and showbusiness and how they are inextricably tied to Philippine pop culture. Political leaders, leading commercial endorsers, showbiz personalities and television network tycoons are some of the characters to be played by the ATC ensemble.
Theater director-mentor Joey Ting conceptualized the first installment of this annual hunting ground of fresh talents for theater and the entertainment industry.
