Dulaang Sibol's long-running play “Sinta!,” directed by Onofre Pagsanghan, will be restaged on Saturday, March 21, 6:30 p.m., at the Dulaang Sibol Theater (Tanghalang Onofre Pagsanghan) of the Ateneo de Manila High School, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
The musical has been running for 35 years now, with various Dulaang Sibol alumni coming back now and then to appear in the show, in what has become a tradition. The current production expects at least one original cast member from 1975, as well as former cast members of past “Sinta!” productions, to join the current troupe.
Tickets at only P250. All proceeds will go to Sibol Hesus School Foundation, a non-stock, non-profit foundation which provides supplementary education for public school students.
For ticket reservations, call Bobby Guevara 4216001, local 5370 (in Quezon City) and Armie Bertumen 8179811 or 8482232 (in Makati).
How the great Onofre Pagsanghan describes youth, innocence and promise in one of the songs: “Puso'y wala pang galos, mga pangarap wala pang gapos.” A gem.
