Rare video: Gary Valenciano--Sa Ugoy ng Duyan

The latest from my makeshift editing lab. Song composed by Lucio San Pedro, lyrics by Levi Celerio--both National Artists for Music. Sung at the Lagi Kitang Naaalala musical tribute to Filipino National Artists held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Main Theater.

Love this version. You?

Gary's version of many songs always sound great. This one did too. I just it quite slow. Is that the original tempo?

I have this on CD and I saw him do this live at the Bahay ng Alumni in UP. I think Gary V is amazing, but for some reason I never liked his version of this song. hm.

i still liek the original version, or atleast close to it, like LEA SALONGA's interpretation of the song in one of her concerts
