Muni-muni dahil kay Muning at Mingming

Cats' gala night crowd. Theater as A-list summit. Where could they be when it's a local production on the block? Naisip ko lang.

It is mainly a question of resources. If i only have so much time and money to watch plays, i would make sure i get my money's worth. I bought dati tickets for into the woods, and hindi siya mura (kapresyo nung ticket ko sa cats), and i was really disappointed. sa cats, with the same amount, i get to see a technically polished material. so there.

MY REVIEW

1. The show was fair to good.
2. The set was ok and really prepped up but no really spellbinding effects, but maybe during the very early 80's that was very high tech already.
3. The best seats if your price sensitive is balcony 1. Balcony 2, you will develop a double chin. If you have the fear of heights goodluck when you get to your seat on Balcony 2.
4. Get to the theater parking area at least 45 minutes because the traffic is crazy on a weekday, what more on a weekend? The best parking spot would be a bit far from the theater. Park near the right side, Star City side so you can leave earlier or else you might be stuck in 30 min to 60 min traffic.

5.You will watch the show for the choreo more than the songs sets or visuals. But the songs are very nice too.
6. The cats are all over the place.
7. If you come late, you will miss 17 minutes of the show.
8. People dress smart casually
9.Bring umbrellas or raincoats, you may drop off at the main lobby ramp.
10. Drinks at P50, souvenir at P500, shirts at P500to 1k, teddy bear at P800
11. Lea Salonga did not fail me this time. She had the lungs and the power and did not sing falsetto.
12. The show is 30 to 40% boring, 40% very good and the rest or 20% is just ok.
13. Make sure that you listen to the MEMORY lyrics at the start of Act 2, the cat sings TAGALOG in a very soft way.
14. There is a 20 minute break and the show ends 11:20pm.
15. The main lobby CR gets very crowded during the break so look for other restrooms.

15. The shows main weakness is the lack of story or having one but being "manipis". So they are going to have a ball and then..I mean so what...its just like watching a musical review.

Here is how i rank it
Phantom
Le Miz & Miss Saigon
Cats
Hope this helps!
