Screenwriting and playwriting workshops at MINT College

Meridian International (MINT) College and professional screenwriter/playwright Dang Bagas have teamed up for two exciting summer programs under the Theater Arts department: 'Scriptwriting for Film & TV Workshop' and 'Playwriting Workshop'.

Enrolled students will be introduced to the principles of dramatic writing including character, plot, dramatic structure, dialogue, exposition, setting and creating theatrical images, through a series of lectures, discussions, creative exercises, stage readings and viewings.

Individuals looking to hone their craft and improve their writing skills are encouraged to participate in this opportunity. Writing students will be guided towards developing their own creative work using the tools and skills acquired from the workshop, with a culminating writing activity for a 10-minute short film script or presentation of a TV series concept.

Scriptwriting for Film and TV Workshop and Playwriting runs May 3-May 12. Course fee for each class is P7,000.
